Volunteer Opportunities

Here is a list of current volunteer needs.  If you are interested in helping in a way not listed, please contact Karen Bleibaum.   Thank you.

Membership Coordinator:  Tracks PTA Memberships and maintains accurate contact information for members.

Development Coordinator:Assists with planning and coordinating of all fund-raising activities. Supports special event coordinators to ensure smooth completion of tasks.

Publicity Coordinator:  Creates posters and flyers, writes newsletter and web articles, to promote PTA events and programs. Publishes monthly calendar of events for Friday folder

New Parent Welcome Host: Help connect new parents with the PTA, SAC, and the Buena Vista Community

Newsletter: writes a monthly newsletter article for the Tiger Times promoting PTA events and programs.

Room Parent: Each teacher has a room parent who helps organize class events and special projects.  Ask your child’s teacher if you can serve in this role.

Grant Writer:  Assist with reseaerching possible grants and writing grants to secure funds for our special projects.
