Here is a list of current volunteer needs.  If you are interested in helping in a way not listed, please contact Michelle Moore.   Thank you.

Membership Coordinator:  Tracks PTA Memberships and maintains accurate contact information for members.

Newsletter: writes a monthly newsletter article for the Tiger Times promoting PTA events and programs.

Great Books: Supports lower and upper elementary programs with small group reading activities.

Recycling: Oversee recycling efforts and coordinates pick up of recycled items. 

Room Parent: Each teacher has a room parent who helps organize class events and special projects.  Ask your child’s teacher if you can serve in this role.

Teacher Liaison: Attends staff meeting once a month in order to have better communicates with teachers,  to identify their needs and special projects requests. 

Welcome Board:  Update PTA announcement board once a month with events and activities.

PTA Storage: need 2+ people to team up and organize this area. 

Reflections Program Coordinator:  PTA sponsored art competition.  This person works with the art teacher to have children create art expressing this years theme: beauty is…

Plastic Bag Recycling:  Contact Walmart/ other stores and set up a plastic bag recycling program for BV

Clothing/ Halloween Costume Swap:  Need a parent to coordinate this event.  May be a part of either the garage sale (October 10) or the fall carnival (October 23)

Door or Door Organics Coordinator:  Be the contact person for this food co-op.

Picnic Table Builder:  Would like to have 6 picnic tables built for the preschool/ kindergarden play ground.  May be a good dad’s group activity?

Skid Loader Driver:  Need someone skilled in operating this equipment to help terrace our garden area.

Sprnikler System Installer:  Is anyone able to install a sprinkler system for our new garden once the raised beds are installed?

Mural Painter:  We would like to complete the murals in Lower El. then add some to the halls in Primary/ Upper El.  Any talented soul interested?
